Very glad there's to be another Blacksad! But I really wish there was a better way to get the French-language version in the US.

Wow more great stuff from Juanjo Guardino. I wish I'd retained from of my French from high school but oh well.
Some of friends and I have been writing comic companies to see if they'll look into acquiring the translation rights to Blacksad now that ibooks has folded.
oh, why oh why can't American artists and authors create works like Canales/Guarnido (or Herge, Frezatto, Torres et al)? Instead of true 'graphic novels' we get monthlies repackaged into a TBP and and graphic memoirs.
Sure, Maus and Fun Home are beautiful, but I'm personally tired of our memoir nation in general right now.
